Philhellene opened its doors at the end of November, 2008 with the aim of providing a wholesome experience around Greek food, culture, music and history. The cuisine is provincial Greek with Cypriot and Middle Eastern influences. Our primary objective at Philhellene is to present an authentic concept of food and drink while using high quality produce and applying traditional methods derived from our own mothers' cooking, creating a truly memorable and even emotional experience. Bergerac Restaurant

Bergerac is a charming little provincial town in Perigord Region and is located some 89km east of hustling Bordeaux. On the back of the Dordogne river, the old bridge that crosses the river is an artist's dream and the town's people are relax and friendly.It is therefore not surprising that the wine maker of Bergerac have adopted Edmond Rostand's swaggering hero, The count of Bergerac, famed for his large nose, as their symbol. Everywhere you go in the region, you will see poster that show the fancily dressed gentlemen with the probiscus, along with the slogan "Un Vin qui a du Nez" which roughly translated means "A Wine with a Good Nose".Bergerac is the home of both good food and pleasant wines. It is the centre of truffle and foie gras production.
