Attica

Attica is an exceptional restaurant located in the suburb of Ripponlea, Melbourne.

The relationship between owners David and Helen Maccora, chef Ben Shewry and front of house manager Camm Whiteoak is solidly based upon a love of food. For the past four years chef Ben Shewry has been given the opportunity to produce his beautiful and exciting cuisine with complete autonomy, the result being some of Australia's most recognised food.

The truly unique food is presented with professional and passionate support by all staff members. Wines are chosen by their suitability and compatibility with the food. Service is knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the dishes when they are presented. Recent improvements to the restaurant have involved kitchen extensions and advanced cooking equipment. The quest is for creative, balanced, beautiful food.

Babka Cafe

This fusion of bakery, cafe and restaurant excels in all categories. The wooden tables and showbiz posters make Babka's typically Brunswick Street, but distinguished by a relaxed, uncontrived style. Staff are charming and accommodating. People queue quite happily for hours to secure the excellent breads and pastries. Breakfast options range from $8-$12. For a something different, try spicy Georgian baked beans, delicate blintzes or sweetcorn fritters. The gourmet sandwiches, pies or the superb salad niçoise make a good lunch. The teas and coffee go well with the decadent cakes and flans. Australian wines available by the glass.

Circa

Owners John and Lisa van Haandel, in collaboration with local designers, artists and stylists have virtually turned Circa inside out to "deconstruct the dining experience". With a new sense of laid-back luxe and a more relaxed convivial aesthetic, the versatile use of space offers more drinking and dining options in the bar, courtyard and new private dining rooms.

With the new mood comes a new menu by head chef, Matt Wilkinson, expanding traditional entrée, main and dessert to small plates and shared plates. Wilkinson's elegant, innovative dishes feature hard-to-find high quality produce, beautiful rare breeds and organic heirlooms - the best of the season's bounty. Add a lush working kitchen garden and a world-class wine list that's lauded and awarded, and you have Circa, today.

Renzos Bar

Situated in the heart of Docklands, Renzo's Bar was the first café/bar to open in the precinct. Stylish and modern it exudes a warm and vibrant atmosphere.  Renzo's seats 160 people with an outdoor area and serves authentic Italian cuisine and wood fired pizza. Owners Renzo and Anna Mammolito with their combined experience in hospitality, owned a well known and successful restaurant in Armadale, Café Renzi, for six years.

Kouzina Watergardens

Kouzina is pushing the new concept to a higher level by utilizing the key ingredients in many Greek recipes going back to the bazyntine era and decontructing them and presenting them in a modern Australian way.  

Greek food is an important contribution to the mediterranean diet and Greece's cuisine with  many influences throughout history from various countries spanning from Asia Minor, Egypt and France, The cuisine has enourmous potential to produce food that involves many influences from a vast range of ingredients and a myriad of tastes with endless possibilities.

Kouzina is present in the following locations: Knox Ozone, Doncaster, Watergardens, Robina QLD and and Southgate.

The Cupcake Bakery

*It's been a fantastic BUSY BUSY month at The Cupcake Bakery! Moving city, building not one but two new stores all serving our amazing cupcakes! *Collins street was first to open the second week of July. With our new lounge area it is perfect for coffee on cold winter days. The week was spent entertaining our new customers and satisfying their tastebuds! Lines out the door, selling cakes and having fun sums up our first week!*Melbourne Central was next to open, and another successful week! Located in the busy shopping centre, there wasn't a moment to spare! Menzie's lane proved to be the perfect location for us, drop by on your way to work!*Melbourne being the heart of food and fashion, we go hand in hand! It is our mission to ensure that Eating House is your first choice when thinking about eating out. Whether it's for a quick bite to eat, a special dinner, a leisurely lunch, breakfast with all the trimmings, a pizza perhaps or even just a great coffee and something sweet. With a number of menu options, we are also ready to cater for your next event, whether it's for 10 or 200 people.Eating House is open 7 days per week & has 2 great locations - Rowville & Lynbrook - both with plenty of parking. We serve breakfast all day until 4pm and our kitchen is open til late every night. Bookings are advised.

Monarch Cake Shop

Monarch Cakes has been baking from the same recipes for over 75 years. Many of the recipes originated from the original shop in Poland and were brought to Australia and have been used here ever since. In the past, a cake was made from fresh, raw ingredients such as butter, flour, eggs, and sugar. Today many have sacrificed that old fashioned flavour in order to bake more quickly and cheaply. At Monarch Cakes we would never dream of doing that!

We bake the same way our grandmothers did, using the ingredients in their most natural form. Our cakes are made with the highest grade butter and sugar and we never use substitutes or premixes. This is evident in the way the cakes taste.

Most of the recipes come from Eastern Europe: Austria, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, and a few more recent editions from the French.

Rusk Restaurant

South Caulfield who's inspiration for an iconic restaurant serving global contemporary food in his local area is now a reality. The food philosophy at Rusk is to use the best quality ingredients in dishes from around the world respecting the heritage from where they originate. The food is fresh, not overworked and cooked with care. The restaurant won the BDAV award for the best hospitality renovation in 2006 and was made over by BY Architects in late 2007. Rusk has a contemporary feel, with an emphasis on warmth and comfort. Rusk is fully air conditioned and heated and features original artwork by renowned artist Ceci and up and coming South African artists.  The restaurant can accommodate up to 100 guests. The main restaurant seats 60 and the private function room seats 40.
